We’re back to our old tricks at The Art Market again! We are happy to announce The Art Market is open for business Wednesdays – Fridays from 10:00am to 3:00pm.  We remain in our location at 4128 Butler Street in Lawrenceville. 

For those who have been to The Art Market before, Welcome Back! 

For those who have not, Welcome!  The Art Market showcases the work made by the talented consumers at Milestone.  Featuring handmade craft products and customized t-shirts made by artists with disabilities, the store allows you to purchase low-cost gifts with a large-scale impact!

Proceeds from each purchase are split between the artists who made the products and the supported employees who receive a work-training opportunity in the store.  With most jobs focused on assembly line production in the disability community, it is rare to be able to offer people the opportunity to generate income from their artistic abilities.  Milestone is the only known service provider in western Pennsylvania and one of a few in the country who are creating ways for this population to earn revenue from their creative abilities.

With much regret, Milestone Centers must announce the suspension of business at the Art Market effective Monday, September 10, 2012. Milestone remains committed to the mission of the services offered through the Art Market and over the next several months we will be reviewing our options for ways to continue supporting this business enterprise. We would like to thank everyone who supported this endeavor and hope that you will continue to support the numerous Milestone services that remain dedicated to “helping extraordinary people live ordinary lives”.
